Open Call is an international competition created to reveal new faces, but above all to give everyone a concrete introduction to the world of modeling.
Open to beginners as well as people with initial modeling experience, Open Call is not looking for one single type. We are interested in personality, presence, attitude and the impact of a look, a silhouette or an energy.
Each participant enters an environment designed around real industry habits: introducing yourself, being observed, photographed and filmed, walking, answering an interview, understanding your strengths and discovering how a professional may perceive your profile.

Every participant’s profile is reviewed: the assessment is not limited to a height, an age or a single type of beauty. Photographs, videos, measurements and presentation allow us to appreciate the presence, personality and potential of each candidate, according to the categories.

A tool for what comes next.
You won’t leave empty-handed: every participation includes a digital comp card, with four polaroids selected by Open Call, your measurements and a professional layout to present your profile.
A comp card is a model’s business card. It is the first document an agency, a booker or a casting director looks at: at a glance, they see the face, the silhouette, the proportions and the measurements, with nothing staged. Polaroids — simple, natural photos — are the industry’s common language: they show the profile as it really is.
This gives you a ready-to-use tool: to send to an agency, attach to an application, present at a casting or simply keep as a record of your profile at a given moment. A comp card guarantees neither a selection nor a contract, but it gives you something concrete, in the format the industry already uses.

The card is sent after your session, within 30 calendar days at the latest, unless otherwise agreed or in the event of an issue, which would be communicated to you. The photos are not provided as separate files. Studio photos and videos are not included in the deliverable.

Modeling is not only about measurements or aesthetic criteria. A profile can stand out through uniqueness, presence, the ability to capture attention or simply something difficult to define but immediately noticeable.

The way someone occupies the space, looks into the camera and communicates something without overdoing it.
Adaptability
The ability to take direction, understand instructions and remain natural in different situations.

We do not only look at what is already mastered, but also at what can be developed and supported over time.

Open Call offers an initial professional-style experience, a better understanding of modeling standards and expectations, and a chance to discover yourself in an unfamiliar setting.
The competition can also create opportunities to meet photographers, stylists, makeup artists, hairstylists, agencies and other fashion professionals. These exchanges provide a better understanding of the industry and the range of professions around it.
For some, the experience confirms an ambition. For others, it simply provides a clearer understanding of their profile, strengths and the areas in which they might develop.
Open Call does not promise an immediate career. Modeling remains a selective industry in which opportunities depend on the profile, the market, timing and what professionals are looking for. The competition does, however, provide a concrete experience, professional visibility and a more realistic view of the industry.
